In hopes to support the MacLean family, a silent auction is planned for the Dancing for Amelie Event on October 16th. All proceeds will go directly to the family.

We are asking each dancer to contribute one item (or more) to the suggested theme baskets below. During September 26 through to October 8th, we will be collecting item(s) inside the dance studio for these baskets after which time, these will be assembled and presented for bidding at the October 16th event.

Please help make this possible in hopes to support a little girl and her family during her very brave fight with leukaemia.

Theme baskets: Suggested classes assigned to collect a balanced number of items for each theme. (Baskets are being put together by Shari Young – Olivia’s mum! thanks Shari!)

Picnic/ Barb- B Que. Basket: meat rubs, crackers, cheese, sparkling apple juice, wine, table cloth, napkins
(Suggest classes: Tap Grade 1-3)

Craft basket: glue sticks, sparkle glue, felt material, construction paper, beads, scissors, paints, small embroidery kits
(Suggested Classes: Tap grade 4+ and Zumba)

Coffee/ tea basket: specialty teas, coffees, coffee syrups, cookies, mugs/ tea cups
(Suggested Classes Musical movements to Grade 3 Ballet)

Gardening basket: Spring bulbs, hand shovel/rack, watering can, seeds for the Spring, gardening gloves etc (Suggested classes: Modern Grade 1- 3)

Spa Basket: Bath salts, bubble bath, nail file/ polish, face/ body scrub, lotions, candles
(Suggested Classes: Modern and Tap Grade 4+)

Remember dancers – get your entry form in to the studio by October 1st!
